Course objectives | Knowledge and skills to be acquired: Based on the Dublin descriptors: . 1) knowledge and understanding: knowledge of the events of Italy and the Mediterranean from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day and of psychological reactions and understanding of the perception of the events of contemporaries . 2) knowledge and understanding skills applied: strengthening of the advanced skills required by the discipline that should have been acquired in the first cycle, in particular demonstrating the mastery of the knowledge and methods necessary to properly analyze and the ability to effectively present general aspects and also complex historical issues. . 3) autonomy of judgment: take into account the different interpretations on every relevant aspect of the history of contemporary Italy and the Mediterranean, knowing how to grasp the best contributions offered by each school or current historiography . 4) communication skills: being able to describe complex problems with extreme clarity . 5) ability to learn: know how to exploit the cognitive skills acquired in the first cycle to deepen in full autonomy of judgment the main issues of the history of the last century |

Evaluation methods | Type of exam: Oral exam Evaluation criteria: The evaluation of the exam will be based on the degree of knowledge of the topics covered in the course and in the reference texts, the analytical skills, the clarity and the linguistic correctness of the candidate |
